Dr. Denise Diaz Aguayo
Optometrist
Dr. Diaz brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our practice. Originally from the San Joaquin Valley, she earned her Bachelor of Science in Biopsychology from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University. Following her graduation, Dr. Diaz completed a rigorous Primary Care and Ocular Disease residency at The Eye Institute in Philadelphia, PA. Her expertise and dedication to the field led her to a faculty position at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry, where she mentored and trained aspiring optometrists. Dr. Diaz is passionate about providing personalized care to patients of all ages. She specializes in managing myopia and treating glaucoma, along with a wide range of other ocular conditions.

Dr. Andrea Huerta
Optometrist
Dr. Andrea Huerta was born and raised in the Bay Area. She earned her bachelor's degree in Molecular and Cell Biology and her Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of California, Berkeley, graduating with honors in both programs. Dr. Huerta then completed an Ocular Disease Residency at the San Francisco Veterans Administration Medical Center, where she received advanced training in the diagnosis and management of eye diseases before providing primary, medical, and emergency eye care to patients in California's Central Valley. Today, Dr. Huerta provides comprehensive eye exams, diabetic eye examinations, and contact lens fittings to patients throughout the Bay Area at FYidoctors. She also diagnoses and manages a variety of eye conditions, including glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, and age-related macular degeneration. Fluent in both English and Spanish, she is passionate about helping patients achieve and maintain healthy vision through personalized, comprehensive eye care.
