Dr. Lauren Tackett
Optometrist
Dr. Lauren Tackett was born and raised in San Francisco, Califomia. Her husband is a native of the Central Coast. She obtained her undergraduate degree in Biology from UC Davis where she was awarded a UC Regent Scholarship for academic excellence. Dr. Tackett received her Doctorate of Optometry from UC Berkeley. She joined the practice in 2008 after completing a one-year optometric residency program at the San Francisco VA Hospital. During her residency, she honed her skills in ocular disease and low vision rehabilitation. Dr. Tackett is a past president of the Tri-County Optometric Society Dr. Tackett strives to create an environment of respect, appreciation and compassion towards patients and just as importantly, reciprocity, recognition and strong teamwork among the staff and doctors. She is a former competitive gymnast and enjoys swing and salsa dance. She has fun exploring local attractions with her daughters, husband and labrador on the weekends.

Dr. Quyen Immoos
Optometrist
Dr. Quyen Immoos grew up in Southem California and joined the practice in 2004. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Biochemistry from Occidental College, then attended UC Berkeley where she obtained her Optometry Doctorate in 2002. Her clinical studies included internships at the Livermore VA Hospital, Seymore Johnson Air Force Base in North Carolina, and the Sequoia Eye Surgery Center in Tulare. Dr. Immoos enjoys the sense of community that living on the central coast provides. While her three daughters keep her and her husband very busy, Dr. Immoos is a frequent volunteer at her daughters' school and a past member of Quota SLO and Rotary of Atascadero. In her free time, Dr. Immoos just enjoys being Mom.

Dr. Steven Hider
Optometrist
Originally from Merced, California, Dr. Steven Sage Hider attended the University of California at Irvine obtaining his Bachelors Degree in Biological Sciences, and receiving his Doctorate of Optometry from the University of California at Berkeley School of Optometry. As part of his studies at UC Berkeley, Dr. Hider completed interships at the Western Blind Rehabilitation Center in Palo Alto, the Oakland Veterans Administration Hospital in Oakland and the Atlanta Eye Surgery Center in Atlanta, Georgia. After receiving his doctorate in 1994, he joined Primary Eyecare Center. Dr. Hider's practice emphasizes family vision care, contact lenses, and ocular disease management. Dr. Hider is very active in community volunteer work. He is a past president of the Atascadero Kiwanis Club and has been a member since 1995. He is the chair of the Atascadero branch of the US Marine Corp's Toys for Tots Program. Dr. Hider and his wife, Nicole, also continuously work with Scouting USA.

Dr. Amelene Bartlett
Optometrist
Amelene Bartlett obtained her Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry from CSU, Channel Islands then attended Western University of Health Sciences, College of Optometry where she received her Doctorate of Optometry. During her rotations in optometry school, she was able to experience disciplines of optometry that included primary care, ocular disease, contact lens, and low vision, as well as pediatrics and vision therapy. She had the opportunity to participate in an optometric residency in ocular disease at the VA Central California Health Care System in Fresno, CA. In her free time, Dr. Bartlett enjoys doing any activities that involve being outdoors including swimming, hiking in National Parks, traveling to new places, and making homemade pizza from scratch with her family.
